I did it, y’all, I finally bought clothes! Slowly but surely, I have been purchasing clothes for my new body. I have lost over 90 lbs, but buying clothes is a whole new world now.
Because of Covid, I can’t try on clothes in the fitting room. I had to purchase my clothes at the store, try them on, and return things that did not fit. I also use the size guide heavily. Before I even start shopping, I use my tape measure to figure out my measurements and compare them to each size guide of the store I plan on going to. I have to make sure that I am picking up the correct sizing when I am in-store, so the tape measure is my best friend right now. I have like 4 of them.
A couple of weekends ago, my lovely boyfriend bought me a pair of mom jeans and tops from Forever 21 at Deer Park Outlets. I also got some nice workout shorts and a sports bra from the Nike Factory.
In the video below, you can see me pairing my new mom jeans with the shirts from Forever 21. The first shirt is from Hot Topic. All the shirts are in a size Medium. And the jeans are in size 30.
It feels good to slowly but surely get clothes that fit. I felt like Bag-in Saggin’ Larry from All That for so long. I have had loose booty in all my old clothes. I am so ready to strut (COVID-Safely) in my new fits! I am looking for new bras and undergarments.
If anyone has any ideas on where to get bras or undergarments, HOLLA AT YA GIRL!
